Howells new wine bar & restaurant in the Marina

We have a very special guest today. We're welcoming to the neighborhood a new wine bar called
Howells and we have Nate Welch the owner, the master, the wine pourer, the you
tell me Nate. Thank you for coming, thank you for being here. How are you?
Thank you, thank you, I love that intro by the way that musics that's good. I like it, wakes
me a little bit.
I wrote that I made that.
That's nice, that's good.
This is our first time meeting. I've know Nate for a matter of you know a few minutes and so
Nate, tell me about your new bar here in the Marina? Where we located, where are we
at right now by the way?
So we are in the West Nut, its called the West Nut, I think it's catching on slowly, I think it's pretty much anything west of Avila. We kind of use that as the line populated by spots like Causwells,
Mamanoko, A16, and down the street definitely on the west side of the Marina and Chestnut Street but we feel like it's a good spot, lots of opportunity here.
So let's just rewind for everyone listening. This is a brand new wine bar.
Wine bar and restaurant. I snagged chef Sarah Galloway from Spruce and Trestle and Stones Throw and she worked at Mason Pacific she did a stint in the neighborhood at the Brazen
Head, nice culinary school from Johnson Whales.
She knows what's up?
Yes. Yeah definitely, she has her skill set.
